I am one lucky artist! I truly have the best fans and supporters out there. One such fan discovered my work through Etsy and, liking what he saw, decided to offer me a commission I will never forget! He was fond of 1930-40's Pin-Up art as well as the burlesque style and asked if I could combine these ideas into a representation of his beautiful wife. He said he wanted her to look at it and "see her as her inner burlesque queen". I truly believe this project was destined for me. I was made to create it. Not only was it a piece that featured a naturally beautiful woman but one that would celebrate her beauty and make her feel special. How many husbands are this adoring? I was touched.

My lovely patron sent me many photos of his beautiful wife so that I could gain an understanding of her facial features and shape. Using a variety of resources I created this luxurious composition. He absolutely loved it and we decided it would look amazing in a sepia palette. I'm so thrilled with the results and I'm excited to share close up photos of the details! Keep scrolling to see them!
