Rind Beauty

This is my second original artwork that has been inspired by the incredible work of M.C. Escher. This piece speaks volumes about the importance of inner beauty as opposed to exterior beauty. True beauty is seen in one’s soul (personality, character) where as our exterior beauty or rind is but a shell. We can add all the glamour this world has to offer (portrayed with the diamonds in the background) but no amount of sparkle can hide what is truly in our soul.
