On Saturday May 2nd 2015, I had the pleasure of spending the night with Alexandria Karakis (Artist behind Fotoflares and creator of the ETA Awards) and artist Al Barazi at Art Katalyst Magazine's 1 Year Anniversary Party which took place at May. It's a terrifying and challenging endeavor setting out to publish an art magazine but they worked through an entire year of dedication and put out some truly powerful issues. It was an honour to have a small part in the evening; the opportunity to show my piece "True Beauty" 'Jenny Blackbird'. But it was also lovely just to watch the true joy of these ladies reveling in their amazing accomplishment. Big congrats to everyone involved with Art Katalyst! Here's to many more years!
