This stunning mixed media art portrait blends the thick texture of acrylic paint with the smooth creamy gloss of oil paint. Combining them I express my awe of the classically beautiful woman. I feel as though our current media does not portray classic beauties as the ultimate woman but rather sexy woman as more desirable. I often ponder how things have changed since the days of Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, and Audrey Hepburn. All of them sexy in their own right without a doubt, yet their beauty was more than just sex. It was big beautiful doe eyes and luscious lips smiling. Beauty that not only captured the imagination of men but the hearts of women and children, the young and the old. That is true beauty.

It was a modern beauty, Emilia Clarke, who inspired me to create this piece. The background was created using thick strokes of creamy green acrylic paint to give a vintage look. The portrait was painted using an under-painting of acrylic and creamy layers of oil paint on top to truly express the rich classic beauty.
